The Bromwich Home
When Scott and Mandi Bromwich decided to build a home, they knew exactly who they would build with. Faced with big commutes from Papamoa to Matamata and back, they needed a second house that they could count on to be affordable and accessible, all while still having the comforts of a true home. “We knew we needed a solution, so we decided to build. Scott and Mandi enjoyed designing their home-away-from-home, doing it all in one meeting. “It was so easy - we couldn’t stop talking about how easy it was.” Choosing their interior and exterior design was all done with the help of our sales and build management team, and from there, the Bromwich family was amazed at how quickly everything came together, even with the unexpected twist of the COVID-19 pandemic. “Even amidst the pandemic, you worked so hard to get us into our house on schedule! Everything was done so timely.”
Now, Scott and Mandi have more than a place to stay when the commute is too long - they have a home that they love!
The Arnold-Settle Home
Luke and Renee weren’t expecting to build a home, but when the opportunity came, they knew exactly who they were going to build with. “Luke has worked onsite with Bennett Homes before, so there was no question - we were going to build with Bennett Homes!”
A young and hard-working couple, Luke & Renee were new to the building process but enjoyed being involved. “Even when we decided last minute to change plans or colours, you worked with us to make it happen!”
Grateful to the team for their communication and trustworthiness, they were impressed that everything stayed on schedule. “The team was so efficient and friendly, and you sorted any problems that came up so smoothly. The handover date on the contract we signed in the beginning was the exact day that we moved in - and 10 days before COVID hit!” Luke and Renee were able to spend lockdown in their brand new home, and enjoyed every moment.
“I think our favourite part of our house is just that it’s ours! We designed it, we chose the colours, and we saw it all come together.” Now, a year later, they are thankful to have a beautiful Bennett Homes build that is all theirs.
The Jenner Home
During their search for a new place to call home in Invercargill, Cathy and her now husband Jason came across listings for Bennett Homes house and land packages on Trade Me, the affordability of which drew them in instantly.
Cathy and Jason decided to modify an existing Bennett Homes plan to incorporate four bedrooms, open plan kitchen and dining, two separate living areas and ensuite, walk in wardrobe, double garage and extensive outdoor living space.
Flexibility during the design process was a key highlight for Cathy who says, “The fact that we could modify an existing plan to accommodate our needs was fantastic, the Bennett Homes team were so flexible with my ideas. As an Invercargill property it was essential for the house to be north facing and include a fireplace for our cold winter evenings, nothing was a problem, and they were able to incorporate all of my wishes into the final design.”
